What people think of my services...

"I just had to write and say how beautiful the photograph album is. It quite took my breath away..."

- Penny

"Having worked with Jeremy at the Scotsman Newspaper we were well aware of his talent and the awards he has achieved over the years, with this in mind we had no hesitation in booking Jeremy for our special day. What a great decision it was too, our pictures were great and he really captured all the special moments of the day, I personally liked the natural shots and Fiona loved the colour captured in the dresses, flowers and camper van. The Garden Suite at Norton house is great location for a wedding, with not a cloud in the sky and Jeremy's talent it was a perfect mix. We didn't expect the CD to be delivered so quickly but what a pleasant surprise it was when we returned from honeymoon and the disk had been delivered and was ready to watch. We have spent some time looking at the pictures, they are all so good we are having trouble picking the pictures for an album, thankfully Jeremy understands this and has been so patient in waiting for our picture choices. Finally I would recommend Jeremy as you wedding photographer without won't be disappointed."

- Alan and Fiona

"The pictures are looking amazing thanks for the day you were great. Barry and me were just saying today that you made us feel very relaxed and liked that we could have a wee bit of ‘banter’ with you. Makes the photos more enjoyable. Thanks again and look forward to the completed photos.”

- Barry and Claire Seager.

"We received our photos today, they are fabulous thank you."

- Lorrain McArthur.

"Just wanted to say a huge Thank you from us both for the fabulous wedding photographs! We have spent the last hour re-living the whole day thanks to the great photo's. From me getting the giggles during the ceremony to Frazer wiping off the sticky lip gloss, it is a wonderful reminder as to how the day was for us. If you remember in the beginning I didn't even want a photographer, but praise given where it's did a fantastic job!"

- Rosie & Frazer Thomson.

"The CD arrived! Thank you very much. We're delighted with them! Plenty to choose from for an album."

- Gillian.

"Thanks again for all your efforts, the shots are fantastic and I think we will struggle to pick!"

- Siobhan

"They are brilliant! Thank you! "

- Debbi Taylor

"My wife and I would both like to say a huge thank you for being the photographer at our wedding on the 31st of December, 2014. You were absolutely fantastic and, having now seen the finished product, I can say that your work is stunning. Fern and I are both extremely impressed (particularly so considering that you have still provided such beautiful photos in spite of the challenging weather conditions), as are our family and friends whom we are enjoying sharing the photos with. Finally, we were extremely impressed at how quickly you completed the work. Indeed, the fact that you were able to get us some wonderful samples on the same day was astounding. Again, you were great, and thanks again for everything. All the best for the future"

- Max and Fern Greene

"Great images, thanks Jeremy."

About Me

A Brief History of Mine...

Jeremy Stockton

Having cut my teeth in Local papers in Northern Ireland I then studied an H.N.D. in Edinburgh. As I successfully finished my qualification, I was employed as a staff photographer with Scotsman Publications in 1996 till 2000. In 1996 and 1997 I visited Bosnia, to work for the Scotsman publications. You learn to live by your wits and learn to understand just how a country can fall apart, and how to document such events. In 2000 I started to freelance for The Scotsman, Sunday Herald, Scotland on Sunday, and all related magazines. The Sunday Times, the Herald, the Sunday Herald, and Sunday Mail. I have had images printed in the L.A Times, Paris Match, The Independent and New York Times to name but a few, winning numerous awards on the way. In 2002 I fulfilled a desire to cover the storm season , in the Mid West of the U.S.A. for the Sunday Herald in Glasgow. During the ten day trip, I encountered Biblical shelf clouds, and lightning only available, on the plains of the Midwest. There were some hairy moments, but when you are watching God's light show, it's hard not to be awestruck. Baseball hail, severe risk of lightning strike and a scary drive through a Tornado producing supercell, between Greensburg and Wichita Kansas at night, will always be a memory. Being a member of the press you learn to shoot quickly with quality, and this has stood me in good stead for the varied Press and commercial clients for over twenty years.

As a freelance for over twenty years, I have worked for such business clients as, Coors, Pol Roger, The Halifax, The British Council, The Sheraton Group as well as countless projects with the Business press. As part of my job as a staff and freelance photographer, I was regularly shooting for restaurants and other commercial fields. This carried on rather nicely into my freelance work for top Public Relations and Advertising companies in Scotland and now in Northern Ireland. For many years I photographed for the Sheraton Grand, Prestonfield, The Vu, The Balmoral, The Orient Express, The Lost Sock Diner owned by a masterchef winner, and many many other commercial shoots. Working with food stylists and designers is part of the work and something I found rewarding and after the shoot is done, tasty.Business shots have been part of career for over 20 years. Being a regular freelance for Business AM, as well as the business pages of all the other titles I have worked for. I always tried to make strong punchy, graphic style image, no matter how mundane the subject, providing images in liaison with the client to provide a fresh and modern look to their advertising or internet needs, and with my Press work and contacts Public Relations companies have always been impressed with the coverage their clients get.

In 2005 after helping an ex colleague shoot many weddings for his firm Duke Wedding photography, I started my own Wedding Photography business, Gallery photography. Having now over ten years in business, we have covered weddings at many venues in the Edinburgh and central belt areas of Scotland. Glasgow University, Edinburgh Botanic Gardens, Prestonfield House, The Hub, Norton House Hotel and The Vu in edinburgh, and since moving back to Northern Ireland in 2015, I have been booked for weddings at the Clandeboye Lodge in Bangor and we are one of the chosen suppliers at the Crawfordsburn Inn. We have completed hundreds of weddings for hundreds of happy customers, some of whose comments can be viewed under the pictures shown. We always try to make the photography as special as the day itself, working closely with our clients to plan execute and present , some of the most memorable images of their lives. With a friendly relaxed and professional attitude we aim to make their day as joyous as it should be. With packages between £599 and £1,000 we aim to provide affordable highly professional images, with our award winning photographic team , with collectively over thirty years of experience, you won't be disappointed.
